Overview

In this step, you will enter the schedules governing the operation of airside systems. Most of the details for these schedules can be found in the BAS under the scheduling tab or feature.

In-Depth

Enter the schedules for each schedule noted. Note that if schedules vary during the work week, the schedules should be simplified in this tool to reflect a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. Holiday designations will make the AHU operate as if the day was a Sunday—in other words, Sunday schedules will be used to model the holidays. Building exhaust fan (e.g., toilet exhaust fan) schedules, dedicated building pressurization exhaust fan schedules, and minimum outdoor air schedules are optional inputs. However, if these systems are present, it is highly recommended that the user enter accurate schedules for these systems. If the systems are present, schedules will default to AHU operation schedules if they are not input.

Building occupancy schedules are used to differentiate between occupied and unoccupied hour operation of the HVAC system for summaries, and also help provide summaries of met vs. unmet thermostat hours.
